Wearable Technologies Europe Conference has started

Today we were pleased to welcome about 400 participants and exhibitors at the Wearable Technologies Europe Conference in Munich. The first day covered a wide range of technological solutions that will probably enable the next wave of wearables for this booming industry. After the welcome note by Wearable Technologies’ CEO Christian Stammel Keynote Speaker Nick Hunn presented his take on the recent developments and the future of wearables. The agenda for day one included the new technologies panels about materials, communication and energy and delivered deep insights to the solutions of some of the leading enablers for wearable tech devices. Some of the highlights of the day were Thomas Fickert’s talk about designing and prototyping apps for Google Glass as well as the award ceremony of the Wearable Technologies Innovation World Cup. You’ll find the finalists and the category winners in our hall of fame, including this year’s WT Innovator of the Year Moticon. Stay tuned for a full recap of the Wearable Technologies 2014 Europe Conference after our second conference day, tomorrow and follow our discussion (WTEU14) on twitter.
