WT Founder was Selected Among the Top 50 Decision Makers – from Politics, Economic and Social

Wearables were one of the hot topics discussed at Süddeutsche Zeitung’s Economic Summit – Germany’s most important economic congress. Nowhere else you can experience a large amount of high caliber speakers, than at the event at Hotel Adlon in Berlin every year. WT | Wearable Technologies’ founder and CEO, Christian Stammel, was selected among the top 50 most important decision makers from Politics, Economic and Social.

The event, organized by one of Germany’s most important publications, took place this week. This year’s theme was “Leadership in the Digital Age.” Christian Stammel joined the discussion alongside high-ranking speakers; such as Vishal Sikka CEO of Infosys, Mitchell Baker Founder of Mozilla Foundation, Thorsten Dirks CEO of Telefónica, Martina Koederitz from IBM Deutschland, Oliver Bäte CEO of Allianz, Gerhard Schröder ex. Christian Stammel was involved in the panel gearer towards discussing “The Internet of Things” (IoT). During this talk he represented the perspective of how wearables are able to tie IoT together. He answers high ranking questions like; “How will the Internet of Things change our lives?” “Who will be the decisive players?” “How will we protect mass data?” Mr. Stammel replied saying, “Privacy is a very important topic for everyone, but it should not be a showstopper or a brake for the economy.”
