Schreiner Group - textile RFID-Label

Schreiner Group has presented innovative RFID solutions for product and brand protection of textiles, accessories and sports articles at electronica 2006 and ispo winter 2007 in Munich. As part of the "Wearable Technologies" show the presentation featured ((rfid))-TexLabels – integrated into clothing and accessories – which can be read by mobile/cell phones with NFC (Near Field Communication) capability. This relatively new technology enables the use of mobile/cell phones to perform product authenticity checks via SMS (Short Message Service) or web-based applications.
