Wearable Technologies Show: 250 square meters of wearable innovations

Following the successful launch of the Wearable Technologies Show last July, Navispace AG again presented the latest technological highlights for the upcoming season at this summer's ispo SPORT & STYLE. The platform not only continued the success of past shows but also increased the interest expressed by the industry as well as the media rush surrounding the wearable technologies segment. In particular the high-caliber panel discussion "Wearable Technologies and Mobile Motion Tracking Services" in cooperation with BITKOM, as well as "Healthcare innovations for Best Agers through Wearable Technologies" brought a large number of visitors to the booth.

The global market leading platform for technological sporting goods and portable consumer electronics showed again how the combination of sports, fashion, and lifestyle with the latest trends in the electronics segment create a genuine added value for consumers as well as additional revenue potential for retail. One example is the growing market of exercise, monitoring, and GPS equipment for leisure and outdoor sports.

Benefiting from the great location at the entrance to the innovation hall B2, the booth was always busy - presenting all facets of the Wearable Technologies market beginning with the iPod euphoria, and including the complete analysis of body functions and more. The following exhibitors were on location, among others: SolarFocus Technology Co.: portable solar energy, ENTRAK Energie- und Antriebstechnik GmbH & Co. KG: [ventilationVest], Sefar Inc.: Powerheat heat weave, European Space Agency (ESA): insulating protective jacket, Bodylogics: vitality through magnetism, Sigmasport: Onyx Classic pulse computer, Beurer Pulse Watches: measurements with the help of light.

The numerous exhibitors were as pleased with the show as the visitors: "Our goal was to generate new contacts with members of the sports and leisure industry, and to introduce our cooling system [ventilationVest] on the global market, in order to gain access to a market sector new to the ENTRAK Company. Our trade show participation at Wearable Technologies organized by Navispace helped us clear the tracks for a successful start, and we consider the event a great success for us," said Michael Wiesner, Manager Marketing & Sales ENTRAK GmbH & Co. KG.
