Riddell's HIT (Head Impact Telemetry) System(tm) improves safety by measuring the acceleration of a person's head in helmeted sports, such as American football and rugby.  Small enough to fit comfortably in a helmet or headgear, the HIT system uses six ADXL193 iMEMS accelerometers to provide real-time data which is wirelessly transmitted to the pitch side for review.

Microsport's AirtimeSensor measures the duration and the quantity of jumps of snowboarders and skiers on ski jumps and in a halfpipe.  ADI's ADXL322 iMEMS® accelerometer detects the jump and the landing with an accuracy of 1/100 of a second.

SmartSwing intelligent golf clubs allow a golfer to visualize and analyze their swing. Two of ADI's ADXL210 iMEMS accelerometers are used to measure the acceleration and swing plane of the user's golf swing, while three ADI ADXRS300 iMEMS gyros measure pronation for the swing or the twist of the hands. During SmartSwing the club records all relevant swing data for future analysis.
