ESA - from space into every day´s life

Even today, many industrial technologies are developed from space research. The European Space Agency (ESA) is Europe’s gateway to the stars. To a certain extent, manned space travel is what created wearable technologies. One example of wearable technology is the classic spacesuit, which not only provides for the astronaut’s survival, but also contains a sort of monitoring system of the astronaut’s vitals, such as pulse, oxygen saturation, and body temperature.
