Autographer – a new type of camera

The Oxford Metrics Group developed the world's first intelligent, wearable camera which - how it is referred to the Autographer on its website - enables spontaneous, hands-free image capture. The 58g heavy camera is only 22.93mm thick (with clip and lens) and has five built-in sensors that record a range of data which help it to decide when to take a photo. The readings are saved as metadata against each image which can be used as filters within your collection. Some technical details: 8GB internal memory, GPS, Bluetooth, 136° field of view, glass hybrid wide angle precision optics, fixed focus, 5MPx low light sensor, dedicated smartphone app which allows to view, tag and share the images.
