Wearable Technologies show at ISPO 2013

In 2013 the WTshow will be part of the ISPO for the 7th year in a row and looking back it is great to see how the products and projects of our exhibitors developed over the last few years. This year, the following companies and organizations will be part of our booth at ISPO 2013:

4iiii Innovations Inc. will present its compact audio/visual heads-up performance coach designed to guide you to programmed targets for heart rate, speed, pace, cadence and power without taking your eyes off the road or breaking stride.

AiQ Smart Clothing Inc. is where electronics merge with textiles to create fashionable, functional and comfortable solutions to meet your everyday needs; whether it’s in sports & fitness, outdoor & leisure, home & leisure, home care & healthcare. AiQ has the drive and capability to turn Smart Clothing concepts into reality.

CSEM creates a dynamic link between research and high-tech industry, transforming scientific knowledge into appropriate solutions. The center is an independent, private, non-profit Swiss company for applied research, including technology, strategy and innovation consulting, which is focused on generating value for a sustainable world.

Danfoss PolyPower A/S will show its versatile stretch sensors, which are compliant and comfortable with a flexible design, making measuring on the human body easy. The sensor design has application potential across industries, ranging from industrial automation to wearable products. At ISPO, Danfoss PolyPower will present a completely new demonstrator for the sports and fitness market.

sportsCurve GmbH will show its tracking solutions which can be tailored to the customer’s needs, sending collected data to the cloud.

Fraunhofer IIS and IZM Two Fraunhofer institutes will be exhibiting with us at ISPO. The Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits IIS performs contract research and development for industry and public authorities. The institute’s researchers develop microelectronic systems and devices along with the requisite integrated circuits and software. The Fraunhofer Institute for Reliability and Microintegration IZM helps companies to assemble robust and reliable electronic systems and integrate them into the application environment.

Recon Instruments will show its heads-up display for alpine goggles: the MOD Live heads-up display has been designed to enrich, but never disrupt your alpine experience – it delivers crisp, widescreen graphics when you want them, and keeps them out of sight when you don’t. Speed, vertical descent, jump airtime, navigation and distance are all delivered using built-in precision GPS and an integrated suite of sensors.

Last but not least, the winners of the WT Innovation World Cup will present their innovative solutions. The expert committee is currently judging the submissions and we are really excited about who will be the winners of the four categories Sports&Fitness, Healthcare&Wellness, Gaming&Lifestyle and Safety&Security.
