Smart hearing aids are part of a booming field of wearables set to transform the health care industry. A range of companies are working hard to make these smart hearing aids smarter. Now, Danish hearing aid manufacturer Resound has created the first smart hearing aid to use Artificial Intelligence (AI) to pair with Apple’s Siri assistant.

Resound Linx Quattro uses AI to learn your preferences and settings over time, and automatically adjusts to your environment. You can change profiles using voice assistant Siri with commands like, “Siri, turn up the volume in my left ear.”

Combined with Android or iOS app, Siri provides you multiple ways to adjust noise cancellation and wind reduction filters, control the volume, turn on a directional microphone, etc. It also allows you to stream phone calls, music and TV wirelessly, using both the app and your voice, reports Cnet.

ReSound LiNX Quattro is the most advanced rechargeable hearing aid with a long-lasting battery that gives enough power to last more than a full day. It only takes three hours to fully charge the batteries giving you 30 hours of battery life. Even when streaming TV or music 50% of the time you can still enjoy 24 hours battery life. If you’re in a rush, quick charge ensures 2.7 hours of battery life in just 10 minutes.

Battery status is easy to monitor with the ReSound Smart 3D app and the LED lights on the charging case that indicate the power status for both your hearing aids and the charger.
