CareWear Light Patch

CareWear® has developed a wearable photobiomodulation therapy system using blue and red light to decrease pain and accelerate recovery from athletic activity and injury. Their solution is a wearable system with a reusable light patch that can be used pre-training, post-training, or post-injury anywhere: training room, traveling, or home. It produces blue and red light to reduce pain and to improve tissue recovery by increasing local blood circulation and elevating tissue temperature. The patch emits wavelengths of light that warm tissues to relax muscles, stimulate increased nitric oxide production to improve circulation, decrease inflammation to relieve pain and stimulate energy production to improve cellular function that facilitates healing and repair.

Just stick the light patch on the treatment site, attach the rechargeable controller, click to start and go! The product is an FDA class II over-the-counter device and can be sold without a prescription.

CareWear is a finalist of the IOT/WT Innovation World Cup®, the world-leading competition for IoT and wearable tech start-ups, and will be exhibiting at WT | Wearable Technologies EUROPE at ISPO Munich in hall C6.
