Jaime is co-founder and CEO of MyoSwiss AG, a company developing solutions to support and augment human movement. He is passionate about human movement - both at the musculoskeletal and neurological levels. Prior to founding MyoSwiss, Jaime was a postdoctoral researcher at ETH Zurich in the Sensory Motor Systems Lab of Prof. Robert Riener. There, he worked on robot-based paradigms aimed at boosting both the motivation and dosage of rehabilitation training. Jaime obtained his Ph.D. and MS from the University of California, Irvine where he worked in the Biorobotics Lab of Prof. David Reinkensmeyer. At UC Irvine, Jaime worked on understanding how to set the difficulty level of a training task and its effects on motivation, motor learning, and recovery.
