Previously, he spent 13 years in the US where he co-founded several start-ups related to digital broadcast technologies and participated to the ascent of the “silicon tuner”. He earned his Ph.D. from EPFL (Switzerland) by contributing to the then-young topic of ultra-low-power CMOS transceivers.

    Nitin has over twenty-five years of industry experience in R&D, new product development, consulting and marketing for the automotive, consumer electronics and telecom industries.

    Bryson Voirin is a scientific problem solver. He is a research fellow at the California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco, a visiting scientist at the Smithsonian in Panama, and a wildlife neuroscientist at the Max Planck Institute in Germany. Bryson also works as a freelance television presenter and project management consultant for various projects. Bryson works on a broad range of topics, ranging from the mysteries of the brain, how to effectively communicate complex research to the public via popular media, and why we sleep, to the logistical coordination of conducting business in developing nations. Bryson Voirin is based in Munich and San Francisco.

    Jonas mantra is: “get it done”. His mind is forward facing and he loves getting down to the details.
    ProGloves COO studied industrial engineering at the TU Munich and gained work experience at BMW, Bosch and ZF.
    In addition, he was able to be part of various StartUps and lead international teams through his work at IDEO.
    He built up and managed an international team of designers and engineers to develop a mobility solutions app and led the hardware development of a mass market smart sensor product. He leveraged this expertise as a founder for the development of ProGlove where he had the vision of the MVP and developed it to make it suitable for the market. After that, he established a supplier network to manufacture a wearable for industry application - it took less than 10 months from the idea to market launch.

    Nicola Coppedè graduated in Physics at the University of Pisa in 2001 and he obtained the PhD degree in Physics at the University of Trento in 2006 with title: “A novel approach to Nano-Hybrid Materials based on the Codeposition of Supersonic Molecular and Cluster Beams”. He has been selected in Calmed Spin off University Magna Graecia Catanzaro in 2007 in the surface properties of biomedical sensing devices. He was winner of a permanent position as researcher in IMEM CNR Parma in 2012. His research activity focuses on organic biosensors, in particular on textile substrates, for biomedical and physiological applications. He developed innovative device on textile dedicated to the monitoring of human physiological fluids. He is expert of the material functionalization with organic, metal oxide and nanohybrid materials. He is also expert in the preparation and characterization of the devices on different functional substrates (textile, porous polymer, carbon fiber). He published more than 65 paper in international journals, he is author of 6 patents and attended more than 35 congress contributions.

    Michael J. Kirwan is the Vice President of Continua, a division of the Personal Connected Health Alliance (PCHAlliance) – a membership-driven non-profit organization focused on developing an eco-system of open plug-and-play interoperable personal connected health devices.

    Through working with Standards bodies and industry experts, Continua publishes global certification guidelines built upon international criteria from IEEE, HL7, IHE, ITU, WSI, Bluetooth, USB, NFC and ZigBee.

    Michael has over 35 years of experience in driving wired and wireless special interest groups and alliances and believes that, together, we are all on a journey as unique individuals who know that by coming together with a shared purpose, we can make it possible for everyone everywhere to be healthy and, for those who do fall sick, to receive the care and treatment they need in a way that fits into their day to day lives -- and that we can do this digitally.

    Michael advanced as Continua’s Technical Operations Manager, starting in 2009, to its Director and now VP of Continua. Michael has extensive experience within both non-profit and for-profit technology organizations. His prior role within the Bluetooth SIG as its BQA (Bluetooth Qualification Administrator) and a leading role in the development of the Bluetooth low energy technology, has helped shape his vision for personal connected health – so that it can work for everyone.

    Michael holds an MBA from the University of North Carolina, a BS in Industrial Technology from Northwest Missouri State University and is PMP certified (Program Management Professional). Michael also works directly with each of the Working Groups at the PCHAlliance and is also a Co-Chair of the IEEE 11073 PHD WG.

    Ms. Smith recently joined Cyrcadia Health to take on the role for the upcoming product release to drive the Regulatory and Quality Management system through the operations process on a worldwide basis. She brings to Cyrcadia 27 years of experience in the medical device industry with additional 13 years in electronic industry.
    Ms. Smith previously served in the roles of CEO and VP of Regulatory, Quality, EHS and Business Compliance for the $850 million Ultrasound Division of Siemens Medical Solutions USA. She is an exceptional executive leader with the ability to create high performance teams.
    Ms. Smith brings strong business management experience that will enable her to drive the operations and regulatory processes for the product release with Cyrcadia Health in multiple market and applications. She has worked with Jabil Circuits, Cyrcadia’s design manufacturer, and is experienced with managing global contract manufacturing, including the implementation of multiple manufacturing transfers and distribution fulfillment in many countries.
    She has developed and led global regulatory and quality teams across multiple sites. During her time as head of regulatory the team was responsible for reducing time for country registrations by 30% and for China a reduction of time by 50%.

Prior to Electroloom, Aaron worked for various implantable medical device companies, and saw a class 3 implantable artificial heart valve through to commercialization within the EU.     Valer began his career at the campus completing his PhD at Philips. Over the past 10 years Valer was part of the Imec team, an internationally famous R&D institute based at High Tech Campus Eindhoven. During the past 5 years he has focused on new technology sales and business development. An entrepreneur at heart he is now fulfilling a lifelong dream.

    David Shea is a Sales Manager for PolyOne Distribution and is focused on developing business within the healthcare industry. David leads a team responsible for helping customers streamline the material selection process. He joined PolyOne in 2012 as a Healthcare Application Development Engineer, supporting medical device companies in material selection and product design. Prior to joining PolyOne, he provided application support and adhesives training to customers with Henkel Loctite. David earned his B.A. from the University of Connecticut.

    As VP of Marketing, Ryan leads global marketing for Valencell and is responsible for all areas of marketing strategy and execution. Prior to Valencell, Ryan led marketing and enterprise engagement at 6fusion, rapidly growing market awareness and adoption of an innovative approach to standardizing the economic measurement of IT infrastructure. At GXS, Ryan led product marketing and product management for GXS Managed Services, helping grow the business from $40M to $150M in 7 years. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from the University of Maryland.

Currently part owner manages west coast sales at Alium Batteries, a leading provider of batteries for the wearable market, with a worldwide manufacturer’s representative network.

He is pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science and he is working as a software manager for a hi-tech company. The company develops and sells solutions for the Internet of Things Market.

    I have worked as the software developer for twenty years, have great enthusiasm for software design and project management, and absorb a variety of knowledge of those at any time. I obtained certificate for Project Management Professional (PMP) and certificate of completion for Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) when I was a software supervisor in LITE-ON technology corporation. I also had experience of building RD center when I was RD manager in main China.
    Now, I work as a software manager in Kinpo Electronic Inc. My job responsibilities are to design health care system and collect technical information. I am also skillful in software development for windows software, mobile app and cloud system.
    In the near future, I will develop my interest and capability regarding system integration.
